i dont know if anyone else saw this but somewhere southeast of the sardelac sanitarium, like 3-4 weeks ago, i saw a lv4 or something warrior bandit/renegade named bonetti, just wandering around, i killed him but there really wasnt anything special from doing so. Now i see he has been removed. Also its possible to kill the Charr Ranger in Pre in the trouble in the woods quest, oddly he got pinned by grawl, so i cast Imaginary Burden on it and started attacking with my warrior. Then the ranger died and dropped a charr carving. I dont know if theres anything special about killing it though.

Didn't Bonetti have hundred blades? Maybe removed because of jealousy? >_>

I too killed the charr in presearing. He got caught on some spirit he made and, well, I killed him for it. Don't think there's any significance to it though, because I went on to complete the game (And to my knowledge all quests) and never heard of it again.

Hehe.. I saw Bonetti the other night... and killed him. But I forgot where I saw him

only really noticed because of the name though.

funny the only character of mine who hasn't killed Bonetti is my W/Mo :P
And thats because the only time she ran into him... I was solo'ing for something else.. and didn't have my usual skillset equipped... thus couldn't do squat to him... LOL

Every other char of mine has whooped his whimpy butt everytime they see him... just for kicks! hehee and I'm sure my W/Mo could kill Bonetti easy with my usual skillset... (course W/Mo is lvl 20.. soooo.. hehehe)

If he bothered to learn some offense rather than defense... he might actually be a challange :P

my n/mo killed the Charr in pre-searing as well. Although it was odd... it was a necromantic boss summoning ranger spirits! LOL.. guess he was a N/R! hahahaha! He got stuck between a spirit and a grawl... and was easy to kill... was funny to kill him.. hehe

Bonetti is pointless. he has no worth while skills (despite what the prima guide may say). i went searching for him with my warrior for hundred blades. needless to say he didn't have it... a total waste of time.

the charr guy is a ranger not a necro. both have a green aura though.
enemies only have one class. in my experience.....

I can almost swear, I experienced double-classed boss once or twice, but unfortunately have no shots to confirm that.

Ann - I know that the Charr is supposed to be a ranger, but the color of his aura was a necromancer green, not the ranger green. Likely was just a bug tho *shrugs*

I believe Bonetti used to have 100 blades... but too many ppl said it maid it too easy to get an elite skill... so it was removed. I mean.. they were right in a way... 100 blades {E} in Old Ascalon while other elites were way away from there.. *shrugs*. Course this just means he's totally useless now and killing him is just for kicks

No, the Charr boss in the Breach used to have 100 blades (which is highly overrated) and then they took it away from him. Bonetti is just a noob.

I saw him the other night when I was playing around with whirling defense. I dragged pretty much every non-mesmer mob upto the gates of Ascalon and then turned on whirling and let the bugs kill everything around me with their deflected range attacks

Althought no drops except 5 or 10 golds.

Yeah the Charr Boss Gorgaan Hatemonger had 100 blades but they took it off him. There was anouther Charr that had it too but, oh well. :/

the guards of ascalon settlement are another example of warriors using troll unguent.

I hope by the expansion we see dual classed mobs with strategy and better AI

Bonetti dropped a yellow dye for me a day or two ago.
Cobble poundstone however, dropped a black, which impressed the hell out of me. I only killed him because he killed my character 17 levels previously.

There is a boss in Perdition rock who has 3 Professions! No damn lie. He used aura of restoration, some necro skill, and quickshotm, which I happily capped! Take that world!
